What is the DICE club?
D.I.C.E. (Drop-in Centre, Eastleigh) is an open, self-directed activity group for adults with a learning disability. It is supported by Mencap, who provide the support work hours of the club co-ordinator.
We meet on Mondays at the Wells place centre in Eastleigh to do art, craft, music, play games and make new friends. We have a whole array of activities and materials (mostly donated) to choose from or else simply make yourself a drink and chat to other club members. We provide a relaxed and friendly start to the week!
How do I Join? –simply come down and see us, and if you like it, fill in a membership form
What does it cost? – We ask members to donate £2 a visit and this pays for the hall hire – any extra goes on refreshments or to offset weeks when there’s less people. Occasionally we need to ‘top up’ our account with a fundraising activity or grant – so your ideas for fundraising are always welcome.
